Apple Picking

Two weekends ago we did our annual apple picking. I usually go during the fall break but since I am in Cobb I don't get one this year, the kids did though! James was good and went with me and the kids. They love it and we had beautiful weather.
As soon as we got there the kids were hungry so we had a picnic lunch. Caitlin found some pumpkins to pose for me on! You will notice her sandwich in her hand!
We always go to the same place. This year they have added a bunch of things, this picture area being one of them. They had a special Groupon that brought lots of new people.
The kids were anxious to go apple picking. We were told there were 7 different kinds! That is the most we have had in a long time.
C just had to get that perfect apple at the top of the tree, thank goodness for Daddy's head!
Now B is posing!
He loves Granny Smith, like his Daddy!
Here he found a red one, good for the girls he said!

They loved the animal petting section, it is never open during the week when we go.
Caitlin found the barn at the back was open where they had baby animals. We did not see them for 30 minutes, I was getting ready to jump the fence to find them! Yes, we saved money by just letting them go in, would you expect anything less!
James, being James!
The apple shooting! B was first. He immediately took out his hearing aids when he got up by the gun, he told me it was way too loud!
He was very careful about where he aimed.
The targets.
The kid shoving an apple down the barrel.
C shooting, the gun is bigger than her.
Again, posing! This is our usual place to take pictures, so as soon as she saw the rock she knew what to do!
Strike a pose!

PreK and Baseball

Braden started Georgia PreK on August 31.
I was ok until I left for work and realized I have always been there for my kids when they start school. I called home and talked to B, then told James to take the usual first day pictures. It just so happens that is was C's picture day too, a lot for Daddy!
I have to say for Daddy having to get the kids up, fed, and dressed, then off to school on time he has done a great job! I showed this picture to my kids at school, with a few tears in my eyes!
I think B really likes school, but if you ask him he doesn't, he never wants to go back!
Braden started baseball this year. He is loving it. He missed Tball and is using the pitch machine, and surprisingly is doing really well!
He is part of the Seadogs and he is number 9. Which is funny, he is one of the youngest kids but one of the biggest, so different from his sister.
On the field with Coach James, they keep trying to get him to be a coach for every game!
My absolute favorite picture of B!!
This is when I was so worried he would not hit the ball, after 3 attempts they put the t up for the kids to hit off of. He hit the first time!
Swing!
And he is off, he did a good job of hitting and running, which a lot of kids have problems with at this age.
He keeps going!
Coach is telling him to hit the base, which is hard not to do since it is so large!
Waiting for the hit.
The kid is ready!
Second time up to bat.
And he has a hit. Both times he hits it up in the air, great shots!
There he goes.

Baseball ready, waiting to run.
Hi Mom!!
B's best friend came to watch and cheer him on.
I brought my 2 nieces to the game.
Such sweet girls!!
