East Side

Caitlin started at East Side just in time for a First Grade nutrition performance. She was super excited to do it and she quickly learned the songs. Thank goodness for my wonderful coworker, Kelly, who watched both our classes so I could attend.
She loves her new school and her new teacher!
In the mornings we arrive before the bell rings and she lays on the rug in my room and reads. She has become a good reader, reading everything from books to signs. The days are gone that James and I can spell things out, she knows what we are saying!
This is her calm and relaxing, as soon as my kids come in the room she gets crazy!

Fall Festival, Bowling, Halloween, New School!

The kids dressed up as a witch and a black ninja for Halloween. Our neighbors were their first stop and as usual Caitlin made Braden talk!
Ninja Braden
Ninja and Witch
Witch Caitlin
Ninja Braden, he holds so still up in a tree you can't see him (this is what he thinks!).

Braden did not want a birthday party, he wanted to go bowling with our family and Spencer and his family. We were lucky to have the Morelli's in town for it too!
Caitlin being like her mommy, competitive!
I don't know what they were saying but I am sure it was serious!
Aunt Jessica and Sweet Caroline!
Waiting for the ball to score some big points!
Collin concentrating on the game.
The kids came to my Fall Festival a few weeks ago. It was so much fun for everyone. Caitlin got her hair blinged out.
This is the process of her getting it done.

Here she is getting her nails done.
Now she is painting a pumpkin.
Getting ready to paint! The kids went separate ways, I went with C, James went with B. I had the camera so I got the pictures, that is why there aren't any of B. He had a blast doing karate moves against the karate people!
I don't have a picture to show this but Caitlin is now at my school!! I did not start her here because I thought she should stay at the neighborhood school. But I realized that I missed her a lot and when I finally would see her we both were tired and cranky. As the holidays have started to approach I also realized I would miss out on seeing her for the parties and special occasions. She started at East Side on Monday and has had three great days! She stops by my class during the day and my kids all ready know her. And the best thing, she lost her first tooth on Tuesday at school, the PE coach brought her to my room to show me, I was so happy to be able to share this moment with her! I can't wait to have both my kids with me.
